Is the thermal water of Rabbi suitable for people who work standing for long hours?
Yes. The vascular walking path, consisting of alternating warm and cold thermal water on a pebble floor, is suitable both for people who spend many hours standing and for those with a sedentary lifestyle.
The thermal contrast (approximately 16–25 °C) stimulates peripheral circulation, improves venous return and helps relieve the sensation of heavy legs.
Is the thermal water of Rabbi recommended in cases of anemia?
The thermal water of Rabbi is naturally rich in iron. A gradual intake is recommended, starting with one 250 ml glass per day and progressively increasing to 4–5 glasses for a period of about 15 days.
Clinical observations show that blood iron levels may increase after just a few days. This therapy is sometimes recommended during pregnancy, subject to medical advice.
How many thermal therapy cycles are covered by the Italian National Health Service?
The Italian National Health Service (SSN) covers one thermal therapy cycle per year, except in the presence of specific conditions indicated by a physician on the medical prescription.
Is it possible to undergo more than one thermal therapy cycle in the same year?
It is generally recommended to complete at least one full cycle of 12 consecutive days per year to achieve lasting benefits.
Some guests choose to undertake a cycle at the beginning of the season (June) and another at the end (September). Regular annual treatment remains the key factor.
At what age can children start thermal therapies?
Children may start thermal therapies from the age of 3, particularly for respiratory conditions.
The most suitable treatments are aerosol and inhalation therapies, performed exclusively with Rabbi thermal water. A dedicated pediatric area with specific stations and a play area is available.
Is the medical examination mandatory? Is it subject to a fee?
The initial medical examination is mandatory and free of charge for guests with an SSN prescription.
A fee of €15.00 applies to guests without a prescription or those requesting the examination independently of treatments.
Can the SSN therapy cycle be divided into separate periods?
No. SSN regulations do not allow the division of the therapy cycle into multiple periods.
Medical guidelines recommend completing the cycle consecutively.
Is it possible to visit the spa for just one day without a medical prescription?
Yes. One-day packages are available for guests wishing to try different treatments, tailored to specific needs (back pain, circulation, respiratory system, relaxation).
All treatments are subject to reservation and scheduled times.
Are all treatments subject to reservation?
Most treatments require prior reservation. Some inhalation therapies are excluded.
Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance; after this deadline, the treatment will be charged.
How does the carbon dioxide thermal bath (CO₂) work?
The carbonated thermal bath involves immersion in Rabbi thermal water at a controlled temperature (33–35 °C), naturally rich in carbon dioxide.
The CO₂ microbubbles promote peripheral vasodilation, improve tissue oxygenation and help regulate blood pressure.
What is the dry CO₂ bath?
The dry CO₂ bath begins with a warm thermal shower focused on the lower limbs. The body is then enclosed in a disposable sealed cover, into which carbon dioxide is introduced at room temperature.
The treatment lasts approximately 20 minutes and is particularly suitable as a complement to vascular therapies.
What is the water temperature in the thermal bath?
The temperature of the carbonated thermal bath is maintained between 33 and 35 °C. Although lower than a domestic bath, it is well tolerated thanks to the natural presence of CO₂.
