Welcome to Val di Rabbi.

Our valley, still largely untouched by human development, is rich in meadows, mountain huts, and refuges that dot the landscape, but above all in water: streams, waterfalls, lakes, and the precious thermal spring that feeds our baths.

Everything begins with water.
Pure, mineral-rich, rich in iron and carbon dioxide, the thermal waters of Rabbi have flowed from the depths of Val di Rabbi for centuries, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, at an altitude of 1,222 meters above sea level.

These ferruginous waters, naturally rich in mineral salts and CO₂, remained unused for a long time until the 17th century, when local nobility recognized their therapeutic properties. Sigismondo Ercole Thun was among the first to benefit from them, passing through Rabbi in the summer of 1660 “to drink the ‘aqua salsa,’ as advised by my doctor,” as reported in Studi trentini di scienze storiche by Alberto Mosca.

A century later, in the 18th century, Heinrich Johann Nepomuk von Crantz, the physician at the Austro-Hungarian court, recommended them to Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, praising them as superior to all other curative waters of the Empire.

Since then, the Terme di Rabbi have become a landmark for those seeking an experience of healing, prevention, and regeneration, set in a mountainous landscape of unparalleled beauty.
