Is your water suitable for people who work long hours on their feet or lead a sedentary lifestyle?
Absolutely.

For those who spend many hours standing or lead a sedentary lifestyle, we recommend the phlebological path: a walk on pebbles in two pools with thermal water at different temperatures. Designed to stimulate blood circulation and promote lymphatic drainage, this treatment effectively relieves the feeling of heaviness and fatigue in the legs.

Is your water suitable for people with anemia?
The water from the Rabbi Thermal Spring is rich in iron, a useful element for those looking to increase their blood iron levels.
It is recommended to drink it in small sips, starting with a 250 ml glass on the first day and gradually increasing to 4–5 glasses per day for about 15 days.
This treatment is also particularly suitable for pregnant women, who may experience deficiencies in iron and minerals.

How many treatments are covered by the National Health Service (SSN) each year?
Every Italian citizen is entitled to one cycle of thermal treatments per year, covered by the SSN, choosing the most suitable thermal center and only paying the co-payment.

A prescription from your family doctor on a regional prescription pad is sufficient. Alternatively, it can be issued by a pediatrician (for children) or a specialist, as long as the regional prescription form is used.
We recommend showing the doctor the list of SSN-covered pathologies for accurate prescription.

Certain protected categories (war or service-disabled, blind, deaf-mute, civilians with disability over 66%, work-related disabilities) are entitled to a second specific treatment cycle during the year.

• Non-exempt patients: € 55.00 per cycle

• Partially exempt patients: € 3.10

• Totally exempt patients: free

The exemption type must be clearly indicated by the doctor on the prescription.

Can more than one cycle be done in a year?
Yes, it is possible and recommended. For optimal results, it is advisable to complete at least 12 consecutive days of treatment.
The spa is open from May to September, allowing two complete cycles: one with SSN coverage (with prescription) and one private (without prescription). The second cycle receives a 50% discount on the list price.

At what age can children start thermal treatments?
From the age of 3, especially for respiratory treatments such as aerosol and inhalation.
Our center has a dedicated children’s area with eight stations and a play corner.
The thermal water is particularly effective for respiratory issues, thanks to its fine particles that reach the bronchi and deep airways.

Is the medical visit mandatory? Is it paid?
Yes, it is mandatory.

Can the SSN treatment days be split into two separate cycles?
No, the SSN cycle must be completed continuously. In specific cases, a second cycle may be considered by a doctor.

Can I come to the spa for just one day, without a prescription?
Yes. We offer custom one-day packages, for specific concerns (back pain, breathing, circulation) or pure relaxation.
All treatments must be booked in advance.

If I want to do two treatments, but only one is covered by the SSN, which prescription should I get?
If one of the treatments is a thermal bath for arthritis or rheumatism, we recommend requesting the prescription for that, as it is the most expensive.
The other treatments (e.g. phlebological path or inhalations) can be added without a prescription, with a 50% discount.

Are all treatments by appointment?
Yes. It's important to respect the scheduled time.

• In case of delay, the treatment may be shortened or cancelled

• Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the appointment

• After that, the treatment will be fully charged

When do you pay for the services?
At the time of booking. Any exemptions must be communicated in advance and indicated on the prescription.
