Terme di Rabbi has an agreement with the Italian National Health Service for the treatment of specific conditions. Thermal care is also available on a self-pay basis.
Accessing thermal treatments
Access through the Italian SSN
- A referral from your GP or specialist.
- List of SSN-covered conditions
- Every Italian citizen is entitled to one annual course of 12 SSN-funded thermal treatments, in accordance with current regulations.
- Payment of the applicable healthcare co-payment, unless an exemption applies.
- A complimentary initial medical assessment at Terme di Rabbi.
- Advance booking is required.
- Please arrive at least five minutes before your medical assessment or scheduled treatment time.
Self-pay access
- No medical referral is required.
- Individual treatments, complete courses of thermal care and personalised programmes are available.
- Initial medical assessment: €20.
