Terme di Rabbi provides treatments for certain conditions through the Italian National Health Service and also offers access to thermal treatments on a private basis.
The treatments are based on the use of Rabbi thermal water and are defined according to medical indications and the applicable access procedures.
How to access thermal treatments
Access through the Italian National Health Service
- A referral from a general practitioner or specialist is required.
- List of eligible conditions
- For Italian citizens, the National Health Service covers one course of thermal treatments per year for the conditions provided for by current regulations and upon medical prescription.
- Payment of the applicable healthcare co-payment, unless an exemption applies.
- The medical examination required for admission to treatment is provided free of charge at Terme di Rabbi.
- Advance booking is required.
- We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the scheduled medical examination or the start of treatment.
Private access
- No medical referral is required.
- Individual treatments, courses of treatment or programmes defined according to medical indications and specific needs are available.
- Medical examination for admission to treatment: €20.
