Respiratory health
The respiratory health programme at Terme di Rabbi uses iron-rich thermal water in inhalation treatments dedicated to the airways and respiratory function.
Aerosol therapy, steam inhalations, micronised nasal irrigation, salt-room sessions and drinking-water therapy may be combined according to the recommendations of the thermal medical examination and the needs of each guest.
The inhalation treatments are designed to support the drainage of secretions, maintain respiratory function and complement programmes dedicated to the upper airways.
Main treatments
Aerosol therapy
Inhalation treatment with iron-rich thermal water, administered through a face mask or nasal cannula.
Steam inhalation
Thermal-water steam treatment used as preparation for the complete programme, which also includes aerosol therapy and nasal irrigation, to support the upper airways.
Micronised nasal irrigation
A treatment specifically designed for nasal cleansing using micronised thermal water. It supports the drainage of secretions and upper-airway function.
Salt room
A calm environment dedicated to breathing, recommended as a complement to respiratory programmes and treatments designed to ease stress-related tension.

- when support is needed for the drainage of secretions;
- combined programmes including inhalation treatments, salt-room sessions and drinking-water therapy;
- treatments covered by the Italian National Health Service or provided privately.

A 5+1 package is available for selected respiratory treatments. It is valid for one person only, cannot be transferred and cannot be shared between different people.

Micro Kneipp | Breathing
A short programme combining steam inhalation, aerosol therapy and relaxation in the salt room.
Drinking-water therapy
It may be combined with thermal treatments according to the recommendations of the medical examination.
Mucosal regeneration
A one- or three-day programme dedicated to supporting drainage and respiratory function.
Information and bookings
Thermal treatments are available by prior booking. An initial medical examination is compulsory in order to define the most appropriate programme.
